Is the hair 100% real?

Yes. The hair is 100% real Slavic human hair, known for its high quality, softness and natural shine. We do not use synthetic hair.

How do I choose the right colour?

Compare your hair with the real-hair colour photos on the product page, in daylight. You can also take the Hair Match or send us a photo of your hair and we will recommend a colour.

What does a consultation cost?

We’ll assess your hair and find the right method, colour and length together. The consultation costs 199 kr, which is deducted from the total price if you book an application afterwards.

What should I avoid right after application?

Avoid washing, colouring or treating your hair for the first 48 hours after application.

How often do extensions need maintenance?

Tape is usually replaced every 4–6 weeks. Keratin bonds can be renewed and moved up to four times after the initial application.

How many packs of Tape Extensions do I need?

1 pack is 25 g with 5 sandwich bonds (10 tape pieces).

4 packs (100 g) – a natural, full result. Recommended for most.
6 packs (150 g) – extra fullness and length.
8 packs (200 g) – maximum fullness and length.

Fine or very thick hair can need a different amount. If you are unsure, we are happy to help.

How do I care for my extensions?

Use sulphate- and silicone-free products, brush the hair daily with an extension brush, sleep with a loose braid and always use heat protection.

Tape extensions should be moved up after 6–8 weeks. With the right care, the hair can be reused up to 3 times with new tape.

We do not recommend dyeing extensions, as the hair has already been processed to achieve its shade. If you still want to change the colour, it should be done by a stylist experienced with extensions.

Shipping & returns

Free shipping on hair across Norway. We ship with Posten. Delivery in 1–3 business days (a few extra days to Northern Norway). You can also pick up your order in our Majorstuen salon.

Unused hair in its original, sealed packaging can be returned within 14 days of delivery. For hygiene reasons, opened packaging cannot be returned.

Is there a guarantee on salon application?

Yes. Royal Hair offers a 7-day service guarantee on the application itself. Any application issues must be reported in writing within 7 days of the appointment.
